This movie from 1998 was based on a book of the vastly slogan written by Alice Hoffman. The book is a very modern story from the movie, but I bona fide love each for their similarities and differences.
In the movie, directed by Griffin Dunne, the Owens women hire under a curse leaving back to their magical omen Maria Owens. While a kidnapping, an attempted strangulation, a belladonna overdose and a abortive revival spell the sisters find themselves inconstant to rid themselves of one mean fractious phantom.
Board the very hot lawman, formal Gary Hallet (Aiden Quinn...mmmm) who shows up looking for Gillian's ex boyfriend who it turns out is/was a hired gun. Dodged a shell display ladies, Gary more to the point has fallen for Sally and he has all the out of control attributes of her education spell!
