Nature Magick

Nature Magick
We're moving into Full Springtime, and we're feeling the awesomeness of Nature's Magick. So, Nature is at the center of this week's theme.

It is said that whenever King Arthur's knights began their quest for the grail, they went out into the wilderness where the woods are thickest to find their inspiration. I want to share with you an article on "Wilderness Magick".

Magickal places are all over the world; maybe even in your own back yard! We'll discuss Magickal Places and look at the magickal properties inherent in mountain tops, riverbanks and caves.

There are many customs associated with bones. In many traditions, one is taught to be careful not to break any of the bones of the game that one kills, in the belief that if the skeleton was kept intact, the animal could come back to life - thus ensuring future game for the community. So, as we look at Nature, we'll delve into "Bone Magick".

I hope you enjoy this week's show!

Some of the music you'll hear on this week's show include Waterboys: "Church Not Made of Hands"; Delores Keane: "Solid Ground"; Desert Wind: "Gaia, Earth Goddess"; Kellianna: "Thank You, Mother'; Brewer & Shipley: "Witchy Ti To"

and more.

DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY?

Maybe you've composed a new poem and would like to hear it on the radio. If you want to submit audio to The Spiral Dance, send me an email. spiraldance1@ excite.com
