In the book, Jesus Was Caesar, the author Francesco Carotta wrote that Christianity and the man called Jesus has its beginning in the cult worship of Julius Caesar who was elevated to Divus Iulius (Divine Julius) after his murder. Caesar officially became the supreme god! Before his elevation to Divus Iulius, Caius Caesar was a Roman general and dictator who had claimed direct descent from Venus (Roman goddess). In 44 B.C.E., Caesar was brutally stabbed to death by close friends and colleagues upon entering the Senate building in Rome. Caesar's funeral procession showed him a resurrected god on a cross with outstretched arms on both sides. But it wasn't Caesar's literal body that was upon the cross; it was a wax figure of him. Caesar's corpse was cremated, as was the Roman custom. The cross which carried the resurrected god, elevated high above the earth and having risen victorious was converted into today's version of a literal crucifixion of a man called Jesus Christ who actually was Julius Caesar. However, there was no literal crucifixion of Caesar upon a Roman cross. Only the veneration of the god Julius upon the cross. Octavian Augustus, the adopted son of Julius Caesar, was also elevated after Caesar's death to Divi Filius (son of a god), and was equally worshipped as his divine father. The author Alexander Del Mar wrote in his book, The Worship of Augustus Caesar, that the Roman poet Virgil sang in his Fourth Eclogue:

"The last Great Era foretold by the Cumaean Sibyl is now arrived; the Cycles begin anew. Now returns the Golden Age of Saturn, now appears the Immaculate Virgin. (This was Maia, the virgin mother of Augustus). Now descends from Heaven a divine Nativity. O! chaste Lucina, (this was the goddess of maternity), speed the Mother's pains, haste the glorious Birth, and usher in the reign of thy Apollo. In thy consulship, O! Pollio, shall happen this glorious Advent, and the great months shall then begin to roll. Thenceforth whatever vestige of Original Sin remains, shall be swept away from earth forever, and the Son of God shall be the Prince of Peace!"

The Sibyl Oracles written by the sibyl (which was a divine prophetess or seer in ancient times) appear to have been later forged to create biblical prophetic literature concerning the Advent of the Son of God -- Jesus Christ! For he is also referred to as the Prince of Peace in the Book of Isaiah chapter 9 and verse 6 (King James Bible). The man Jesus Christ is not an historical figure! He never existed in a place called Iudea or Palestina. He is no more than a carbon copy of earlier god-man Saviors. In fact, the mythical and nonhistorical Jesus is a composite of various deities worshipped throughout the ancient world, even the divine worship of Caesar.

Alexander Del Mar wrote, "The worship of Augustus was not, as the ecclesiastical schools have insinuated, a mere lip-service, a meaningless mode of saluting the sovereign-pontiff, an effusive form of adulation or flattery to the emperor of Rome; it was the worship of a personage who was believed to be supernatural, omniscient, all-powerful and beneficent, the reincarnation of Quirinus, the Son of the god Apollo and of the wife-virgin Maia; the god whose coming was foretold by the Cumaean Sibyl; whose sway was to extend over the whole earth; whose Conception and Birth were both miraculous; and whose Advent was to usher in the Golden Age of Peace and Plenty and to banish Sin forever. Such was his character in Rome. In Greece he was worshipped as Dionysos; in Egypt as Thurinus; in Iberia and Gaul as Esar, or Hesus; and in Germany as Baldir; for all of these titles and many others will be found on monuments, or have been preserved by his biographers.

The most effective reply that can be made to those historians who have ignored the worship of Augustus--and who, when they have not concealed its evidences, have passed them over, or sought to belittle them--is to read a letter from one of the worshippers of this god, written from Tomis, a Roman outpost, near the mouths of the Danube addressed to Grecinus, in Rome, and dated, according to our chronology, A.D. 15, or shortly after the death and Ascension of Augustus. The writer of this letter was no less a person than the poet Ovid, or Publius Ovidius Naso, a nobleman of the equestrian order, then 58 years of age and, as his other writings testify, in the full possession of his faculties.

"Nor is my piety unknown: this distant land sees a shrine of our Lord Augustus erected in my house. Together with him stand his son and wife (his priestess), deities scarcely less than our Lord himself... As oft as the day arises, so often do I address my prayers to them, together with offerings of frankincense. Shouldst thou enquire, the whole of Pontus will confirm my words, and attest my sincerity; nor is my religion less known to strangers... Though fortune is not equal to my inclination in such duties, I willingly devote to this worship such means as I command... Caesar! Thou, who art summoned to the gods above, thou too, from whom nothing can be concealed, thou knowest this to be true! In thy place among the stars, fixed in the arch of the skies, thou hearest my prayers, which I utter with anxious lips!"

THERE WAS NO LITERAL CRUCIFIXION OF A MAN CALLED JESUS CHRIST!

Only the deified Caesar whose wax figure hung from a cross at his funeral and whose dead body was burned on a pyre. This is where the story of the crucified Christ came from. Before the Romans adopted the concept of the cross, it was already an ancient symbol in Egypt thousands of years prior. The Romans and Greeks alike adopted many religious concepts and symbols from the lands they occupied.

The story of the first god, goddess and their child, which was also the first trinity concept, originated in Egypt detailing the story of Osiris, Isis and Horus, who was also called the Son of Ra. Ra or Re was the supreme god in ancient Egypt. Also known as Atum, Aten and Amen-Ra, this god was said to have been the creator of the universe. Atum was said to have arisen from the watery chaos called Nu like the "spirit" of the biblical God, recorded in the Book of Genesis, as having moved upon the face of the waters.

Osiris, Isis and their child Horus were the earliest rulers of Egypt, recorded in the Metu Neter, which the Greeks had referred to as hieroglyphics. The Metu Neter writings are engraved in stone, inscribed on the temples, tombs and other monuments in Egypt. These writings predate Judaism, Christianity, and Islam by thousands upon thousands of years. Although the story of Osiris, Isis and Horus has been relevated to ancient mythology, one cannot deny such a detailed account, especially one dating back to a previous earth age. The earth is billions upon billions of years old, and has been through at least five major extinctions of either all life on earth or most life on earth. Maybe Osiris, Isis and Horus were a figment of ancient man's imagination like the biblical God and Jesus. None of us really knows, because we weren't there to witness the magnificence of ancient Egyptian civilization, or when the gods supposedly visited human civilization. All we can rely on are archaeological and historical facts. There are no real archaeological and historical facts that confirm the existence of Jesus of Nazareth, but there is evidence to confirm the cult worship of Caesar in ancient Rome and how this cult worship of "Divus Iulius" morphed into the deification story of Jesus at the Council of Nicea in 325 C.E., because the Roman Emperor Constantine wanted to bring both religious and political unity to the empire.

The ideology of Christianity is based on deception and the Gospel stories of Jesus are forged documents not written by the disciples of Jesus but written by authors claiming to be the disciples of Jesus, also writing under the instructions of the Roman Emperors.
