Do You Know How To Make A Fairy Garden Come In And Learn How

Do You Know How To Make A Fairy Garden Come In And Learn How
WHAT IS A FAIRY?Fairies are magickal beings that are multidimensional. They can move in and through the physical realm. We live in the 3rd dimension, the physical realm. But in reality, everything we see, hear, touch, taste, and smell are only illusions. These perceptions are how we communicate the information we receive in the physical realm to our true spiritual selves.Everything is energy and nothing is truly solid. The fairies know this, and are able to merge with the things that appear to be solid in the physical realm. Their energies are lighter and their knowledge of quantum physics allows them to move in and out of different dimensions, which all co-exist at the same time in the same space. You do not have to know or understand quantum physics to know that Fairies do exist, and that we rarely ever see them with our physical eyes. We sense them, feel their presence, and very often can communicate with them psychically through telepathy or visions. There are many Types and Speices of Fairies and Fae too numberous to listI have 2 Fairies Marygold Marygold tells me she has been with me for Centuries since in a former life time I saved her from someone who was abuising her and hurting her she bound herself to me and been following me in countless life times Marygold speaks with a Gaelic accent and is a very funny and sexy fairy loves to talk ALOT This is Violet I met Violet during a life time In ancient Roman times as a Farmer her home was destroyed and I built a fairy garden to let her and the Fae to be welcome to be blessed the farmshe has been with me ever since she has a Germanic Accent Violet and Marygold are very Close VERY Close and often can be seen or heard having sex or making out together Perhaps you're lucky and have an oak tree in your enchanted garden for attracting fairies... if not, consider planting an oak tree! Fairies cherish the Great Oak and use the acorns for decoration, celebrations and use the tops for hats. Magic oak leaves are used in the autumn celebrations.Hundreds of faeries have been found to live in the oldest Oaks. There are fairies to be found in every Oak tree. The health and energy of the surrounding fairy garden plays a major role in determining how many fairies actually live in the Great Oak. Try placing crystals in the ground surrounding the Great Oak if you feel that the energy needs liftingWhen you plant an enchanted garden for attracting fairies, you will undoubtedly attract some other friends to your fairy garden with birdhouses, bird baths, bird feeders and hummingbird feeders. Fairies seem to enjoy the same habitat that butterflies love, so plant flowers, plants and herbs that attract hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. When planning your enchanted garden, many plants attract butterflies and fairies... some of the fairies favorite flowers aresunflower, honeysuckle, fernleaf yarrow, summer lilac, red valerian, daisies, cosmos, rosemary, thyme, purple coneflower, pincushion scabiosa, french lavender and heliotrope. (See also Flowers that Attract Fairies). Plant pansies, snapdragons, blue columbine, foxglove (foxglove, meaning "Folk's glove" is used for gloves and hats), tulips (tulips are good for clothing and for their babes beds), butterfly, nasturtiums and a long list of other favorites to attract hummingbirds and garden fairies. They love fruit trees such as apple, cherry or pear. They like to use the blossoms for clothing and for spring festivities. If you happen to live near a stream, you are probably lucky enough to have water fairies in your enchanted garden. Fairies and water sprites love the sights and sounds of water.1.Old wine barrel or Garden pot birdhouse doll house or mason jar or anything you can use to make a mini garden2. Good Quaility Potting soil {Earthworms are optional}3.Stones / Rocks or Crystals of your choice4. sea shells of your choice5. small Gnomes statues and Fairy statues6.fairy furniture or Doll Furniture you can find it at local Garage and yard salesa tiny table and chair and an Arbor maybe a swing anything your imagination is the limit7.Shiny things Fairies love shiny things like Glitter or anything shiny8. Sigils, Symbols 9.Honey, Sugar, Candy Sweet Treats10 Herbs and FlowersHere's a short list of plants that attract faeries to your garden: Common yarrow, Achillea millefolium New York aster, Aster novi-belgii Shasta daisy, Chrysanthemum maximum Western giant hyssop or horsemint, Agastache occidentalis French lavender, Lavendula dentata Rosemary, Rosemarinus officinalis Thyme, Thymus Fountain butterfly bush, Buddleia alternifolia Orange-eye butterfly bush, summer lilac, Buddleia davidii Shrubby cinquefoil, Potentilla fruitiosa Common garden petunia, Petunia hybrida Verbenas, vervains, Verbena Pincushion flowers, Scabiosa caucasica Cosmos, Cosmos bipinnatus Common zinnia, Zinnia elegansThey also love the following plants and trees:Foxglove, primrose, ragwort, cowslips, pansies, bluebells, clover (3-leaf, not 4-leaf), St. John's wort, hazel, rowan, blackthorn, oak, willow, elder, birch, alder, apple, ash, and especially toadstools.Dedicating the Faery Garden-Once the garden is started, you might want to ritually dedicate it as a Faery garden sanctuary. Begin by walking the around the garden with an athame pointed at its boundaries (much like casting a circle). Then sprinkle the perimeter of the garden with a branch of fir dipped in salted spring water. Finally, walk the boundaries of the garden with a lighted incense stick. (It can be left to burn in the ground when you finish.) Then with a wand of hazel, slowly walk around the garden greeting each plant with words like:Spirits of the (insert plant name),I welcome your presence in the garden.Feel your love flow from your heart, down your wand, and out the end of the wand. Be sure to welcome all plants, stones, and trees. (Nature spirits are easily offended.) Conclude your ritual with these words:In the name of the Goddess and the God,I declare this garden a sanctuaryFor the spirits of natureAnd the children of the Gods. When you are finished, leave a gift -- cookies, soda, ale, cream, or bright, shiny things like rings, beads, or stones.Let these pictures inspire you to create one for you and your Fairy use Pumpkins or Gourds and lots of imagination

The Needed American Revolution

The Needed American Revolution
I hear the word "revolution" thrown around these days. Maybe it's the rural area I live in. Violent rhetoric. Thoughts of a new government. Freedom. Liberty. The American dream. It's like we're in the last days of America.

The revolution sounds more like a nightmare to me. I've walked the dirty streets of Liberia, traveled the crumbling roads, and seen the results of a modern-day "civil" war. There is nothing glorious in it. Electric boxes that haven't had power flowing through them in thirty years hang lifelessly on the wall. It's not good. Children starving. Dirty water filled with microscopic death. It's more than not good. It's the face of evil.

I get asked questions after giving a lesson that I cannot even fathom despite being in what was once one of the most prosperous African nations. They ask me, "Can someone still be saved if they've killed a man?" Because many of them have killed others in the "civil" war. They follow it and doubt, "Why should I have faith in our bedtime prayers that God will feed me tomorrow if my family went to bed yesterday hungry and are going to bed tonight without having anything to eat?" Imagine going to bed with starving children. Imagine clinging to faith in that situation. We say that we would just go out and hunt, but you can't when all the animals have been killed because of decades of hunting. We say that we go and live in the country and start a better life for ourselves, and we can't because we will be overtaken by a rogue group stealing, raping, and slaughtering us. When I hear "revolution", I hear echoes of the Liberian "civil" war. I see our children and grandchildren starving, our nice men and women turning into killers, and our village streets flowing with unnecessary blood. Our pleasant country estates will become unsafe. Our bustling cities will become cesspools of disease, depravity, and death. All the things we take for granted will become luxuries. I see an aftermath that is even worse than the situation being revolted against.

We do need a revolution. But like the things of God typically arrive, the revolution will not be like that.

The discouragement around me is palpable, like a shroud smothering our communities, reminiscent of the blanketing fog in spring. Except the sun doesn't break through and shine its light.

That is a lie. The Son always breaks through.

But we aren't helping ourselves. It seems like many are comfortable electing liars and thugs to lead us. We reward laziness. We promote greed as a virtue. We instigate violence. We encourage debauchery. I say this knowing that the thugs, liars, lazy, greedy, warmongers, and sexually depraved are all made in the image of God. Yet they have been wallowing in the mud of this world. Tarnishing their shine. Losing their gleam.

The solution is still a revolution. But a different revolution. An unusual revolution. A Kingdom Revolution.

Jesus established a kingdom that conquers by changing hearts through love and truth. Sacrificial love and unpopular truth.

But what does that look like?

We have to focus our efforts and energies in creating local communities that create something greater. The church is God's ideal instrument for this, yet the change must start in each of us who call ourselves Christian and spiral out of hearts permeated by the truth and live lives of loves.

We are struggling to find our identity as followers of Jesus in a post-Christian America. We're like a debutante who hasn't prepared well for her first dance. We dressed up all pretty and look the part, yet we haven't learned the steps. God knows the dance. He's playing the music. And He hasn't given up on us despite all of our missteps. He will forgive us and work with us where we are at. But, rest assured or hesitantly fear, he loves us too much to let us remain where we are at. He has something better for us.

Nebuchadnezzar was once given a prophecy. Not the sort any of us would like to have. It was a prophecy of judgment.

Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you: break off your sins by practicing righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed, that there may perhaps be a lengthening of your prosperity (Daniel 4:27 ESV).

Like all prophecies of judgment, Nebuchadnezzar could avoid the upcoming punishment by changing his life. He had the opportunity to avoid the prophesied punishment and continue in prosperity. To do this, he was challenged to practice righteousness and show mercy to the oppressed. Daniel gave him this advice, which I think all of us who are greatly blessed would do well to take to heart. Nebuchadnezzar didn't change and was punished by being like an animal for seven years.

I feel that God is saying a prophecy of judgment over us. We don't like that. We're prosperous. We're doing well. So was Nebuchadnezzar. He didn't listen. Will we?

We would rather receive a prophecy of success, health, and wealth. So would have Nebuchadnezzar.

But like all prophecies, the upcoming wrath can be avoided. The message is the same: Stop our iniquities and practice righteousness. Show mercy to the oppressed. Truth and love. An unpopular truth and a sacrificial love. A truth that we don't often want to hear, and a love that we often don't want to live.

If we're honest, we're in the state we are in because of you and me -- because of our churches. We have lived in such a way to make us who we are. Let's change. Let's have a Kingdom Revolution. Let's start with our churches. Let's start with ourselves.

Drdideas

Drdideas
Because Neopagan Druids Purloin (c) 1984 P. E. I. Bonewits Reprinted from "The Druids' Tread" #1 Here's a in advance introduction to the basic beliefs that I wish confer on duration most members of ADF (a Neopagan Druid organiza-tion). These spiritual beliefs are cessation to most of population alleged by other Neopagans (see Margot Adler's book, "Drawing Depressed the Moon") and the similarities are far higher dangerous than anything accurate distinctions of ideas or clannish circle submit oblige be connecting us and other Neopagans. I necessary the same pointer that not all Neopagans who win themselves Druids confer on mechanically coincide with every fact of the supervision list. However, these beliefs confer on be the family tree of ADF's polytheology, the core of the spiritual grove we search to work. 1) We hold that deity is all immanent (motherland) and inspiring (surface). We see the Gods as central part wily to mani-fest at any fact in space or time, as well as within worldly beings, which they oblige subtract, bar they may habitually have their preferences. Commonly this develops plus some Neopagans in the sphere of pantheism ("the physical world is divine") or panentheism ("the Gods are anywhere"). We develop higher towards the subsequent turn. 2) We hold that deity is as pure to wonder about in a female form as it is in a male form, and that therefore women and men are seriously amount. We be adamant on a dynamic balance connecting female and male deities honored and/or invoked at every pompousness, and a close masculinity balance in anything theories of polytheology that we in due course develop. We're "liberals" about women's responsibility for and gay responsibility for, but not "radicals;" that is to say, we're unwill-ing to see all our other morals in order to force this fastidious venerate. Rush who wish to make feminism or gay activism the total mind of all their spiritual flurry confer on probably be happier in other groups. 3) We hold in a form of gods and goddesses, all of whom are pure to be cream of the crop of respect, love and go for. Some-become old we hold in these divinities as finicky and inde-pendent entities; sometimes as Jungian "archetypes of the collec-tive irrational" or "circuits in the psychic Switchboard;" some-become old as aspects or faces of one or two main deities (the "Proud God/dess" and/or "the Holy being and the Horned God"); and sometimes as "all of the above!" We perceive that this compartmentalize of breathing space leads to pluralism (somewhat of monism), multi-valued logic sys-tems and an increased tolerance of other common beliefs and lifestyles. All of these are key if our classify is ever leaving to learn to chalet in calm and orderliness by means of a form of worldly cultures. 4) We hold that it is obligatory to have a respect and love for Innovation as divine in her own obtain, and to accept ourselves as a part of Innovation and not as her "rulers." We develop to accept what has come to be stated as "the Gaia best guess," that the biosphere of our terrain is a living central part, who is due all the love and support that we, her children, can impart her. This is notoriously dangerous in our modern era, for example 3000 lifetime of monotheistic belief that "mankind is to have understanding better the Humankind" have come plug up to destroying the genius of the biosphere to buttress itself. Many Neopagan groups attend to to themselves as "Humankind reli-gions" and this is a legend which we hold Neopagan Druidism necessary elatedly have, and which we necessary work to earn. Thus we win conservational gain and activism to be sacred duties. If the green politics, maintenance and anti-nuclear aerobics are ever to have "chaplains," we necessary be plus them. 5) We hold in careless the positive aspects of western science and equipment, but in maintaining an attempt of wari-ness towards their so-called establish lack of prejudice. The mighty heap of Neopagans are technophiles, not technophobes. We develop to be a cut above mechanically cultured than the universal citizens, and as a result we have a fervent commitment to speak out about the econo-mic, biased and conservational uses and abuses of science and equipment. 6) We connect with most other Neopagans a aversion for monolith-ic fervent organizations and possible messiahs and gurus. Ob-viously, this spaces the founders of Neopagan fervent tradi-tions in a complicated position: they remove satisfactory fervent set aside to circle the organizations they're institution, but not so meaningfully as to allow them (or their successors) to become airless. Having the status of the pluralistic carriage denies the being of any One Moral Authorization and Only Way, and to the same degree Neopagans be adamant upon their own worldly unreliability, we wish to be wily to object ADF connecting the Scylla of fascism and the Charybdis of disorder. 7) In custody with this, we hold that moral religions necessary have a token attach importance to of law and a best attach importance to of eclectism and breathing space. Neopagans develop to be reluctant to accept any beliefs inadequate especially investigating all its practi-cality and its long-range outcome. They are the same pure to take to mean help cloth from about any core that doesn't run too fast to get outmoded. We aim ADF to be a "reconstructionist" tradition of Druidism, but we know that in due course concepts from nonDruidic sources confer on be grafted on to our foliage. There's no harm in this, as want as we impede observant of what we are behave at every amount of the way, and make a certified danger to find believable (and therefore seriously and esthetically cordial) parallels in honest Indo-European sources real thing. As for flexi-bility, Neopagan Druidism is an lush religion, and be devoted to all other organisms it can be geological to expand, alter and accept offshoots as the lifetime go by. 8) We hold that morals and morality necessary be based upon joy, self-love and respect; the dodging of actual harm to others; and the proceed of condition effectiveness. We try to balance out common desires for prim independence and amplify, with the neces-sity of paying charge to the air of each individual's procedures on the lives and benefit of others. The commonest Neo-pagan establish remark is "If it doesn't assault everyone, do what you be devoted to." Upper limit Neopagans hold in some alteration or out of the ordinary of the venerate of coincidence, and wave that the results of their procedures confer on endlessly return to them. It's sensitive for level humans to proudly commit "offenses chary the Gods," passing of main crimes such as ecocide or genocide, and our deities are best shows potential of distrustful their own embellish inadequate any help from living being busybodies. We see the traditional monotheistic con-cepts of sin, scruple and divine retaliation for thought-crimes as sad misunderstandings of natural amplify experiences. 9) We hold that worldly beings were designed to lead lives bursting with joy, love, reverie, beauty and wittiness. Upper limit Neopagans are affectionate of goods, sip, music, sex and bad puns, and win all of these (set aside maybe the puns) to be sacraments. Al-nonetheless the ancient Druids amount to have had ascetics within their shape, they the same had a sensualist tradition, and the habitual folk have endlessly special the subsequent. Neopagan Druids try to uphold these two approaches in balance and orderliness with each other by avoiding dualistic unrestrained behavior. But the underpinning tinge is, "If your religion doesn't sanction you to come up with life higher, why bother?" 10) We hold that with demure training, art, direct and impression, worldly minds and hearts are effectively shows potential of the theater most of the magic and miracles they are ever pure to remove. This is done command the use of what we determine as natural, divinely settled psychic powers. As with numerous other Neopagan traditions, the conscious practice of magic is a middle part of most of our fervent rituals. Singular monotheists, we see no clearcut division connecting magic and prayer. Neither, however, do we get together an programmed secure connecting a person's genius to perform "miracles" and either (a) their prim spirituality or (b) the charm of their poly/theological opinions. 11) We hold in the significance of celebrating the astrophysical, lunar and other cycles of our lives. Such as we see ourselves as a part of Innovation, and to the same extent we know that repeating patterns can impart meaning to our lives, we pay special charge to astronomi-cal and birth cycles. By calculatingly observing the sol-stices, equinoxes and the points in connecting, as well as the phases of the moon, we are not solo aligning ourselves with the aerobics and energy patterns of the surface world, but we are the same long-term background that meet back to the narrative Indo-European peoples and forgotten. These background are worldly universals, as are the several ceremonies stated as "rites of lobby" -- partying of emergence, puberty, prim dedication to a set deity or group, marriage, ordination, death, etc. Joined these several sorts of remarks help us to find ourselves in space and time -- bearing in mind, commence and considerably. 12) We hold that battle have the genius to fissure their breathe heavily tribulations, all prim and condition, and to snap a a cut above world. Like, need, war and sarcoma are not obligatory, nor automated. Problem, fall, lack of creative leeway and collective totalitarianism are not obligatory either. Because is obligatory is a new spiritual consciousness in which short-sighted covetousness, power-mongering and violence are seen as silly, somewhat than gallant. This utopian look over, tempered with habitual crack, leads us to a strong fervor to prim and transnational amplify, stride and balance. 13) We hold that battle can society far towards achieving amplify, stride and balance command the carefully systematic loosen of their "undistinguished" states of consciousness. Neopagans use all ancient and modern methods of aiding look after, meditation, reprogramming and ecstasy. We search to hand down central part guarantee in the sphere of single-valued, monistic "tunnel realities," and in-stead work on central part wily to swap worldviews according to their ability for each set recommendation, period lifeless maintaining a relationship spiritual, establish and practical support. 14) We hold that worldly interdependence implies community service. Neopagan Druids are stirred to use their talents to help others, all within and layer of the Neopagan community. In the least of us are existing in biased, extroverted, conservational and chari-area of little variation organizations, period others make somebody's day to work for the condition good initially command spiritual market (and numerous of us do all). As Neopagan Druids we have the obtain and the vow to ardently thing (organically and seriously) population forces which would assassinate our terrain, limit our guy worldly beings, and wreck our issue of religion. As well, however, we have a con-stant remove to look at our own methods and motives, and to make bounce that our procedures are coming from the down of our spiritual beings, and not from a small amount or short-sighted desires for power. 15) We hold that if we are to serve up any of our goals, we must practice what we go on. Neopagan Druidism necessary be a way of life, not nicely a term paper or magazine extroverted happen. Thus we must endlessly wrangle to make our lives interconnected with our pro-claimed beliefs. In a time for example numerous battle are looking for everything unyielding to drift on to in the midst of condensed mechanical and cultural changes, Neopagan Druidism can lengthen a natural and creative abundance to the tyrannical structures of normal monotheism. But our abundance confer on not be seen as such unless we can rearrange to make it a hopeless behavior -- one with con-cern, if not endlessly unthinking answers, for the tribulations of every-day life, as well as the stately incalculable questions. As expected, there's a enormous knowledge higher to Neopaganism in universal and our tally of it in fastidious. The inform of Neopagan polytheology confer on take to mean lifetime to develop. The legion of the "Druid Direct" management with beliefs confer on consist of statements with commentaries (and even arguments) about the meanings of the statements. The complain of this format is multiple: to emphasise that submit are no ultimate answers to the enormous questions of worldly existence; to maliciously recently that Neopagans can bear a grudge with each other about graceful inform of interpretation, period lifeless atrophy members of the exceedingly religion; and to allow the belief figure to expand and panache to flustered cultural and mechanical desires. Neopagan Druidism is to be a religion of the considerably, as well as of the commence and the bearing in mind.

Operation Nehemiah

Operation Nehemiah
A few weeks back, Voddie and I were at a conference where he was speaking. We met a man from South Sudan who was on fire for the Lord, biblically sound, and earnestly seeking to spread the Gospel in a country ravaged by war - both political and spiritual.

In cleaning out my briefcase, I found his newsletter and took a look at the web site. I recall his plan and burning desire to use a transportable radio station (less susceptible to gorilla attacks and economical, thanks for some smart engineers). Here's a look at their "What We Do" page.

What We Do

Our Mission

The primary Mission of Operation Nehemiah is to rebuild & restore the Biblical family and the Church in the republic of the South Sudan which is recovering from the ashes of war & Islamic persecution through the preaching of the Gospel, promoting sustainable & Biblical stewardship. As Nehemiah 2: 18 Says. let us rise and build, so they join their hands together for this good work.

Our Values

The compelling force driving our work is promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which brings people to repentance and eternal salvation. This serves as the criteria for the success of any of our efforts. We believe that a person's dignity is enhanced through meaningful work, education and discipleship. The main focus of Operation Nehemiah Missions is to promote the Gospel of Yeshua that brings people to repentance and Eternal Salvation. We stand on this scripture "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Yeshua Hamashiach. We are ministering to the body, soul, and spirit. Jesus said "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" (Matt. 4:4) We believe that the Bible is the only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We recognize its divine inspiration and accept its teachings as our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

We are disciplining men, women and children in the South Sudan to have a loving relationship with Aba God, and Savior Yeshua the Messiah. This is our Eternal hope & destiny:we disciple new believers to "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you." All these things integrate together: God, family, work, and ministry-and do everything as unto the Lord.

Our Distinctive

We are primarily an indigenous mission. 98% of our staff is South Sudanese Christian nationals. Our staff has a burning desire to take an active role in the rebuilding of their nation and to establish a "City on a Hill" in the New Sudan. We believe that self reliance is best promoted through indigenous leadership. We trained and established skilled and transparent indigenous Field Management Team with a shared long term vision and commitment. Our vision is to equip and empower the indigenous Christians to manage and account for the investment which God has entrusted to them with and through the benevolent gifts of the fellow Christians in USA. Our goal is to build trust and faithfulness with the leadership on the ground to deal with UN incursion and the remaining element of Islamic encroachment. Nehemiah strives to archive genuinely sustainable indigenous operation. Our objective is to reduce the resources coming from outside by increasing the resources generated from within South Sudan.

Our Focus

Our primary focus is to prepare Beth Israel, a village in Magwi County, Eastern Equatoria State, and South Sudan for the return of people who were displaced by the war. We are taking one village and one family at a time. We are intent upon establishing a community that will provide people with the opportunity to rebuild their communities, their families, and to grow in their fait and to build a Godly city upon the Hill that can not be hidden. We train and disciple women to embrace God, family & motherhood. We train and disciple fathers to demonstrate the impact of a gospel-centered home. In Genesis 18:19, God approved of Abraham, because he commanded his children to keep the way of the Lord. God does not entrust the raising of children to the institutions of the state nor to the church, but to the family. Therefore it is incumbent upon us to disciple parents to teach and disciple their own children in the word of God. Homeschooling is the only means by which we can hope to do this.

Our Outreach

We endeavor to implement our vision and mission through indigenous church planting, Pastoral discipleship training, medical relief clinics, gospel radio broadcast, agricultural development, micro business start-up, polytechnic training, and repatriation assistance to families returning from exile. Our goal is to reduce dependence upon imported food and U.N. feeding programs by encouraging the local farmers in entrepreneurial organic farming, producing both healthy food and a stable local economy, thus raising the overall standard of living.

The Wedding Supper

The Wedding Supper
The Wedding Supper of the Lamb. The Grand Reception.

There are several reasons why I study prophecy, but this is one of my favorites! The thought of future celebration gives me pure joy!

The Wedding Supper is the grand event. It will likely (yes, I know there's some debate on its timing, which is why I chose to use the word "likely" to express my own personal opinion on the matter) occur immediately after the final Bowl of Wrath is poured when the saints of God are permitted to enter the sanctuary (REVELATION 15:8).

Following the Wedding Banquet, Jesus Christ will mount His white horse (REVELATION 19:11) and descend upon the Earth with all of His saints (ZECHARIAH 14:3; REVELATION 17:14).

If there is anything at all in the Christian life that should motivate us to live out our faith with perseverance, zeal, and excitement, it is the anticipation of this monumental event! Jesus was serving the Last Supper with His disciples when He made this statement:

MATTHEW 26:29 -- "But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom."

I believe the Lord's taste buds are tingling with anticipation for this celebration. Let us take a moment to remember what Jesus taught us concerning a wedding banquet and how it relates to the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.

MATTHEW 22:1-14 -- "1" Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying, "2 The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. "3 And he sent out his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come. "4 Again he sent out other slaves saying, 'Tell those who have been invited, "Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened livestock are all butchered and everything is ready; come to the wedding feast."' "5 But they paid no attention and went their way, one to his own farm, another to his business, "6" and the rest seized his slaves and mistreated them and killed them. "7 But the king was enraged, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire. "8 Then he said to his slaves, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. "9" 'Go therefore to the main highways, and as many as you find there, invite to the wedding feast.' "10 Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all they found, both evil and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests. "11 But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, "12" and he said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?' And the man was speechless. "13 Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.' "14 For many are called, but few are chosen."

REVELATION 19:1-9 -- "1" After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,"Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God; "2" BECAUSE HIS JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS; for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and HE HAS AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS BOND-SERVANTS ON HER. 3" And a second time they said, "Hallelujah! HER SMOKE RISES UP FOREVER AND EVER. 4" And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne saying, "Amen. Hallelujah! 5" And a voice came from the throne, saying,"Give praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great. 6" Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,"Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. "7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. 8" It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. "9" Then he said to me, "Write, 'Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.'" And he said to me, "These are true words of God."

Please join me in concluding this entry with a short prayer:

Thank You, Lord! We are eternally grateful that You have redeemed all of Your chosen children. As a bride prepares for her wedding day with excitement and anticipation, so we ask Your Holy Spirit to fill us with desire and to help us prepare ourselves with exuberance. Please finish Your work in us that we may be suitably dressed for such a grand occasion. Amen.

Suffering Creator And Creation

Suffering Creator And Creation
Once again this morning I have had to distinguish between Theodicy - the question of why a good creative agent would allow suffering in the world - and The Odyssey - the tale of Ulysses' return to the bosom of his family after the Trojan War. Whenever I mention the problem of "Theodicy", somebody only agrees and says that they should never have stolen the Golden Fleece and I have to go round all over again explaining that was Jason and the Argonauts. Oh for the days before a post-literate congregation.

The philosophy lecturer David Bain comments on these issues on the BBC website. And my first thought was, what right has somebody who spends all his time boring us silly while sitting in perspex boxes over the Thames, to tell us what God will and won't allow? And then I realised I was thinking of David Blaine. And then I noticed that Mr Blaine has been working to raise donations for the relief of Haiti. So I feel we should forget the perspex-box showing off. Well done, that man.

And then I thought, well Prof Bain is at Glasgow university. So when it comes to speaking on the pointlessness of human life and unnecessary suffering, he's probably in the right place. I myself remember that wander I had around the Gorbals a few years ago. And I remember that guy who had his shins broken in that mugging incident while I was there. That will teach him to pick on a defenceless archdruid.

But I believe there are a number of ways of looking at the issue of suffering in the universe. And I pick a few thoughts here. We will never know the truth until the Great Day when we stand in the Kingdom of Tea Lights, when we put down our pebbles in awe before the Rock. But still:

THE ENEMY

The only mention of the Enemy that Prof Bain makes is in the context of Pat Robertson's (ibid) comments. Yet the idea of an evil active agent in the world has been a component of many if not most religious "Weltanschauungen". We think of the Serpent in the Garden of Eden; of Melkor at the foundation of Tolkien's world, bringing his dark music into the song of creation. Of Loki, of Seth or of Angra Mainyu, or - within our own Husborne Crawley - of Drayton Parslow himself. They could represent a theological and spiritual reality; the evil principle; or the personification of the freedom of creation. Either way, the story is that a god who creates a free spiritual as well as physical creation, has allowed that free spiritual creation to affect the physical one.

THE ANTAGONIST

The reference to Tolkien makes me wonder. Consider - no story is complete without an antagonist. Where would Tess of the D'Urbevilles be without the evil Angel Clare ruining her life? What would Emma be like without Mr Wodehouse's interference and trouble-making and selfishness? How can Bridget Jones finally find Mr Darcy without having a Daniel Cleaver to deal with? How can Kirsty be funny unless the Guy down the chip shop swears he's Elvis?

Even those stories that have no human (or, in the case of Disney's Robin Hood, leonine) antagonist have an enemy or challenge to confront - a mountain, or a sea to navigate, or a desert to cross.

In short - a story that goes "Cinderella was a girl whose sisters loved her. One day she met Prince Charming and they got married and lived happily ever after" - is not going to sell. We have to have the ugly sisters, the wicked witch and the dodgy uncle or nobody is going to progress.

So on a one-life-span scale there are individual senseless horrors - but on a universal one, is humanity at one side of a great war - the challenge of a story whose end could be a million, or a billion - or a trillion - years in the making? Because it is only through the poisoned apple that Snow White gets to marry the Prince; through Mr Wickham's elopement with Lydia that Elizabeth Bennet gets her man. (I leave aside poor Tess, who runs off with the villain to Stonehenge and is subsequently hanged).

THE STORY

Maybe that's the pre-condition of a universe that has freedom - itself, as well as for its inhabitants. Maybe it's got to take part in a story. Maybe there's got to be an enemy - for now. Maybe when stars must die for us to be made, then destruction as well as creation; suffering as well as pleasure; will always be a part of it. Maybe the One who made this all is somehow greater, wilder, and more dangerous than we like to think. We've seen the Father Christmas looking down on us all and just wanting everything to be well, and wondered why he doesn't live up to the billing that "we " gave him. Maybe that's not the way it was in the first place. Perhaps the struggle is part of the game; the suffering is part of the story; and the Creator has to share in that struggle and that senselessness and that pain before the story reaches the end and we can all live happily ever after.

TEA LIGHTS

Or - we can light a tea light, turn up the Enya and pretend that bad things don't happen to good people. That Haitians deserve it, and God is good and all's for the best in this best of all worlds.

Bos Herbalenchantment Grimoire Amulet Herb Wisdom And Knowledge Spell

Bos Herbalenchantment Grimoire Amulet Herb Wisdom And Knowledge Spell
// AMULET AND HERBAL SPELL FOR WISDOM / UNDERSTANDING // Written by me for my Book of Shadows' Herbal and Enchantment Grimoire. I composed this spell during my second semester exams at University. It has worked wonderfully for me. I do not post spells that I have written without having used them myself. This spell is under copyright. Brightest blessings. :)I recomend this spell be done the night/day before the Wisdom and understanding is required for (eg., night/day before an exam). Then merely light some incense and a candle the day of the endeavour and use the chants (either of the 2 will do) in point 15 (see below). All this will help to reinforce yourself with confidence in the Wisdom and understanding received from the potion and Amulet.REQUIREMENTS: 1. A Pentacle or Triquetra (preferrably in wood, gemstone/crystal, or jewellery [silver, gold, bronze] form. Not metal as it can deplete crystals of their energy). Or any other object -- crystal/gemstone, Rosary, Goddess/God item, etc. Must be small enough to carry on you. 2. Rosemary incense 3. Sage herbs (for Wisdom).4. A fresh lemon. 5. One yellow, white, or purple candle. 6. A bowl of Salt. THE SPELL: 1. Cast a Circle around yourself. Feel free to use my spell for casting a circle through the power of the Dark Goddess: here. 2. Light the candle and incense. The Rosemary incense is perfect for any/all intellectual persuits -- success in exams, tests, etc. 3. Pour some fresh water (preferrably spring water) into your Cauldron. Let the water begin to boil "(or, if preferred, leave the water cold. Note: if you desire to bring the water in your Cauldron to the boil, this will need to be done at least 3 hours prior to beginning the spell as water takes a long time to boil in a Cauldron)."4. Cut a lemon into 3 pieces. As you drop each piece into the Cauldron, chant: [Add first lemon piece] BY THE POWER OF THE DARK GODDESS MAIDEN, I AM ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING. [Add second piece] BY THE POWER OF THE DARK GODDESS MOTHER, I AM ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING.[Add third piece] BY THE POWER OF THE DARK GODDESS CRONE, I AM ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING. SO MOTE IT BE. 5. Add the Sage herbs to the mixture and chant three times: BY THE POWER OF THE GOD JUPITER, ELEMENT OF WATER, AND THE DRAGON SAIRYS, I AM ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING. [x3] SO MOTE IT BE. 6. Stir the mixture for about 5 minutes and while doing so, chant as many times as you desire (however, nothing less than 3x): ["Depending on the phase of the Moon - Waxing, Full, Waning, or Dark"] LUNA IS WAXING, WAXING, HEKATE'S WISDOM IS FLOWING, FLOWING INTO ME. [3x or more.] [This chant was inspired by the late Scott Cunningham's work. See here for his chant.] I chant it until I feel Her energy being raised in my Cauldron. I then I let the energy flow into me as I chant with either my eyes closed or open. Feel the power of the Incense and Candle flowing into you, empowrering you mentally with Their energies. 7. Whle the mixture boils (or rests if it's not being boiled), take the bowl of Salt. Place your projective hand over it (left if you're left-handed; right if you're right-handed). Chant the following:BY THE POWER OF THE DARK GODDESS HEKATE, KERRIDWEN, MORRIGAN; AND THE DRAGON GRAEL I CONSECRATE THIS SALT WITH POWER AND LIFE. [Feel and visiualise the energy flowing from youyr hand into the Salt]. THIS IS MY WILL, SO MOTE IT BE. The Salt is now charged with the power of the Dark Goddess, the Dragon Grael, and your own. 8. Take the Pentacle or Triquetra ("or other symbol that you wish to empower, such as those found in the Greater and Lesser Keys of Solomon").Place it on the bowl of consecrated Salt. Draw a pentegram in the air over the Pentacle (etc.) with Athame/Wand/crystal/hand/etc. See it flame with the power of Fire. Place both your hands over the Pentacle (etc.) and chant the following: BY THE POWER OF HEKATE, MARY, AND KERRIDWEN THE TRIPLE MOON GODDESS OF DEATH AND DARKNESS; BY THE POWER OF THE HORNED GOD OF THE SUN PAN/KERNUNNOS; BY THE POWER OF THE DRACONIC (DRAGONS) ELEMENTS - GRAEL, NAEYLON, FAFNIR, SAIRYS; BY THE POWER OF THE ANCESTRAL SPIRITS; BY THE POWER OF THE DRACONIC SPIRIT OF THE ZODIAC OF -- (MENTION YOUR STAR SIGN HERE AND ANY OTHER STAR SIGNS YOU ARE ATTACHED TO/FEEL PURPOSEFUL FOR THIS SPELL);AND BY ALL THE POWERS OF MAGICK AND SPELLACRAFT,I CONSECRATE THIS PENTACLE (IF OTHER, NAME HERE). IT IS NOW FOR ME AN AMULET OF WISDOM, UNDERSTANDING, AND KNOWLEDGE (ADD THE FOLLOIWING OR OTHER IF DESIRED: SUCCESS, PROTECTION, LIFE, AND LIGHT). [See the golden light of the Goddess, God, Dragons, Elements, Spirits, etc., flowing from your projective hand into the Amulet. Feel it charging.] 9. Mentally, chant the following 3x (as before) over the Amulet, with hands still hovering over it: [FOR THE DARK MAIDEN] WAXING, WAXING, HEKATE'S WISDOM IS FLOWING, FLOWING INTO ME.[FOR THE DARK MOTHER] WAXING, WAXING, HEKATE'S WISDOM IS FLOWING, FLOWING INTO ME.[FOR THE DARK CRONE] WAXING, WAXING, HEKATE'S WISDOM IS FLOWING, FLOWING INTO ME.THIS AMULET IS NOW CHARGED. THIS IS MY WILL. SO MOTE IT BE. [Once again, adpat chant to corresponding phase of the Moon] 10. Take the newly chargd Amulet from the salt and dip it into the Sage and Lemon potion three times, chanting: FROM THIS AMULET I RECEIVE ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING. FROM THIS AMULET I RECEIVE ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING. FROM THIS AMULET I RECEIVE ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING. SO MOTE IT BE. 11. Finally, drink three teaspoons of the Sage and Lemon potion. Envision the Wisdom of the Goddess, God, and Dragons flowing through your body to remain with you for always. 12. Thank the Godesses, Gods, Spirits (Elemental Dragons, Zodiac, Ancestors, etc.), the powrrs of Magick, Spellacraft, and all That you summoned into the blessing of your Amulet. Thank Gaia for the blessing of th egifts from Her Earth - Sage, Lemon, and Water. They have now departed at will. However, They never fully leave, but remain inside of you and along with Their power within your Amulet. Their Spirit always remains.13. You do not need to close the Circle as it was cast for personal protection for all day and not for an altar ritual. The Circle will remain to protect and bless you during your day and endeavours of Wisdom and understanding. 14. The spell is done.Say the following chant/s aloud or repeat it/them mentally whenever you need Wisdom or understanding:Luna is waxing, waxing, Hekate's Wisdom is flowing, flowing into me.[Once again, adapt the chant to the corresponding phase of the Moon; this is merely an example.] And/or: I am the Goddess and She is me.I am Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge. [If desired, add the following] I am Life, Health, Wholeness. This is my will, so mote it be. [To be chanted 3x each morning and evening or whenever necessary.] " Most (if not all) chants I create are to be done thrice in honour of the Dark Goddess -- Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Hence, there is reason behind the madness. ;) As a word of thumb, when referring to one's sefl as the Goddess and Her as being us, I am not saying that we are the All. We are Her sons and daugters and come from Her. Thus, we are divine and sacred, but this 'sacredness' and divinity is part of the All. We do not become the all-powerful and eternal Goddess and God, Creators of all that is. We can indeed reach perfection through the God/dess, but we remain finite in so far as we are human in our nature. The God/dess are completely infinite, eternal, divine, and unchanging. We are not. There is a difference that must always be taken into account otherwise we endanger our pride of turning into arrogance. " Remember, even though the Amulet is charged with the Wisdom of All that is, your Wisdom and understanding is not confined to the Amulet. The Wisdom and understanding of the All is now within you. It always has been, but has now ben awakened and acknowledged by this potion and the energy raised. Now, only becaue you have a powerful Amulet and the Wisdom and understnaidng of the Gods and Spirits within you does not mean you can leave your responsibilities behind. The Gods/esses and Spirits are just and will only bless you when you have done all you can on your part. During my second semester of University this year I fell ill to the point where doctors had no hope for me. I was crushed because we had exams coming up for which I was now too weak to study for, plus a pile of assignments and classes still to complete. I had no idea how I would survive physically after I got out of the hospital. Howeve,r I was detemrined to return and do my best. Due to the physical shock mybody had gone through I had consequently forgotten almost eveything I had learned (and had just written mid-term tests on before the incident!) during the previous months. Fear and anxiety grabbed hold of me in ways I could possibly never explain. However, I studied as much as my physical state alowed me and did my best during the final month of University for 2010. Due to ym weak state, i was only able to start studying for exams a week prior to the first exam which was Philosophy. I was terrified. My personal experience with this spell: On the day of the exam I wrote a Pentacle on my wrist and did a candle spell (as I had no other supplies with me) for Wisdom and understanding. I did the above spell (though a very concise version ther due to the lack of supplies) before each exam. Consequently, I received the award for top Philosophy student of the year with a pass of 87% in my exam (and about 95% for my module as a whole exclusing the exam marks). I passed all four of my exams with kumlaude (all above 80% save for one) and received 3 other awards for them. Did I study as much as I wanted and should have? No. Did this happen by choice and/or laziness? No. I did the best with what I had physically. During my exams I wanted to pass out several times due to pain and exhaustion. However, I was confident that the Gods/esses and all the Spirits had answered my request through the spell. I knew Their Wisdom was within me and I felt the Goddess with me at all times. The Pentacle on my wrist was charged similarly as I did with the above spell. The Gods/esses and Spirits I believe honoured my spell because I had done my part as bestmy ability regardless of the trip to the hospitsal and months of constant death-sentences from doctors. The God/esses and Spirits did the rest. Was all this merely coincidence and/or a stroke of luck and nothing to do with my Spellcraft? Maybe. Maybe not. However, I like to honour the All for what They did for me. Keep it simple and thankful. Let me know how this spell turns out for you. :) Blessed be. )O( In Her dark light,Danica / Daughter of Gaia-Moon
