La Naturaleza Es El Templo De Los Dioses

Actualmente la Religi'on Wicca no dispone de un Gran Templo Central donde celebrar los ritos y las celebraciones sagradas.

Cuando los Paganos sentimos necesidad de conectarnos con el Dios, la Diosa o el Gran Esp'iritu, acudimos a la Naturaleza, pues es all'i donde podemos sentir la vibraci'on real de la existencia.

En este sentido los gentiles no tenemos Iglesias, ni Mezquitas, ni centros sociales que nos permitan expresar nuestra creencia. Cuando nuestro coraz'on nos pide conectar de verdad con el Esp'iritu, acudimos a la Naturaleza.

Entender esta ense~nanza puede resultarnos dif'icil de aceptar si estamos acostumbrados a rezar en los templos. Sin embargo esto era lo que pensaban los gentiles de la antig"uedad.

Para los sabios del mundo antiguo toda la Naturaleza era sagrada y cualquier lugar era bueno para alcanzar la trascendencia.

Las religiones basadas en la Gran Madre siempre han entendido esta verdad, y manten'ian la Omnipresencia del Esp'iritu. Con el paso de los siglos las cosas han cambiando y hemos llegamos a pensar que la Divinidad s'olo se encuentra en los Templos.

Si yo le digo a un Sacerdote Patriarcal que voy a rezar en la Naturaleza se va a extra~nar. Si le cuento a una monja que me conecto m'as con Dios en el monte que en la Iglesia, le va a sorprender. Aunque vea bien mi forma de trascender, siempre me va a dejar caer que acuda a la Iglesia de vez en cuando, porque no comprenden que la Divinidad est'a en todo.

Para los Wiccanos todo el Universo es sagrado, pues fue creado por la ordenaci'on divina. Las monta~nas, los valles, los r'ios, las cataratas, los 'arboles, las piedras y las plantas son divinas porque llevan el "sello" de la Divinidad. Llevan impresas la marca del Esp'iritu Creador, del Dios y de la Diosa, por eso decimos que el mejor Templo es la Naturaleza.

En este sentido los Wiccanos que viven cerca del campo tienen m'as suerte, pues a medio paso se pueden encontrar "rastros" de la Divinidad. Para los que vivimos en las ciudades nos resulta m'as dif'icil conectar, aunque siempre podemos encontrar un parque lleno de 'arboles o un jard'in bot'anico para visitar de vez en cuando.

Acudir a la Naturaleza es lo mejor que podemos hacer para sentir al Esp'iritu. Adem'as de ayudarnos a mantener el cuerpo el'astico y la mente fresca, nos sirve para recordar que no estamos s'olos en la tierra y que existen otras formas de vida adem'as de las nuestras.

Cuando un aspirante a Wiccano desea empezar a conectar con el Esp'iritu, yo le digo; ?porqu'e no te animas y empiezas a conectar con la Naturaleza....?. Puedes empezar por las zonas verdes de tu pueblo, por los campos m'as cercanos y conocidos y tratar de sentir al Esp'iritu de la Naturaleza. Esto puede parecer poco "poderoso", pero en realidad es lo mejor para sentir la Magia de los Dioses.

Aunque la gente prefiere hacer rituales y ceremonias con mucha liturgia, lo cierto es que visitar la Naturaleza con "ojos Wicca" es lo mejor que podemos hacer para empezar a potenciar nuestro interior (f'ijate que he dicho "para empezar").

Recordar que la Tierra es Templo Santo nos hace ver el Planeta con otros ojos. Si te animas a frecuentarla pensando que todo lo que existe est'a cargado con la energ'ia del Esp'iritu, tal vez sientas su presencia y la verdad de su poder.

?Porqu'e no lo intentas?. Un paseo de bruja va fenomenal..., y lo 'unico que tienes que hacer es "abrir" tu percepci'on a lo divino. Eso lo puede hacer cualquier, y los beneficios son extraordinarios.

Dreams:

All night long I dreamt of Addie. To some extent I relived the experiences of the past with her. I find that I have no compassion for her-I have no positive feelings for her, this rather frightens me. As a rule, I can find a part of myself that can try and understand where the other person is coming from. But right now, there is no part of me that can understand, truly understand her except intellectually. I saw the goddess's who "overshadow" her-she is Hera and Diana. I do not understand Hera -it is hard to see that in my psyche. The message to me is to try and write this out so I can understand her. Which is what I am doing.

1) Read an article on happiness, happiness includes forgiveness and in my dream I can't seem to forgive. I did a spell for success. Apparently, you need to be happy BEFORE you can succeed. And I am having trouble with forgiveness which is part of happiness. I think happiness has to do with faith.

2) Tim and I are arguing, an unresolved related issue.

3) Am new in towne AGAIN, so I decided to try a spell for a kindred friend (above spell).

4) One thing I am "jealous" of Addie. To me, jealousy is a challenge in regards to what you wish for yourself. For example, if you are jealous of someone's beauty, then you need to look at why you don't feel beautiful and change what needs to be changed. Jealousy is a challenge and could be why I can't forgive her or understand her.

5) Addie is a "fighter"(the Diana in her psyche), my way of dealing with someone I do not like in my reality is to simply "cut them out" as much as possible-rid them from my life. Indeed, she "gets off" on fighting people. Addie is also very Machiavellian-she will do whatever it takes, no matter what the cost. I can fight, "the good fight", but my way is very different. Addie is "not going away". She is very present force in my life. The first thing I must do in my "fight", is to rid her from my life in my mind's eye. Forgive her, try to understand her, get over my jealousy, lessen her hold on me. Jealousy, anger etc give the other person too much power over me. The less emotion I feel about her, the less her power and the smarter my decisions and reactions in regards to her.

Philosophy:

One thing about spells is that they many times "counter attack". Whatever is happening in your life that is preventing you from having what you cast the spell for, "comes out to play with you". Suddenly, my trouble with forgiveness is in my dreams-all night long. And an unresolved issue with my significant other as well. Forgiveness is for you and not the other person. If you forgive them, then they lessen their power on your life. So, if you cast a spell for happiness, you are going to find out what is making you "unhappy", and face that down within your own psyche. Forgiving does not mean that you associate with the person again-although it can. Forgiving means that your anger or rage is gone towards them.

Philosophy on "overshadowing":

Based on the book, "Goddess's in Every Woman" by Jean Bolen, the idea is that we are essentially X amount of women in our society. This idea is based upon the Jungian idea of archetypes. For example, a woman who has a lot of Aphrodite in her, will date a lot of men, she is the personification of love and sex. Hera, the wife-but a betrayed wife, is a "woman scorned". Every God and Goddess has both "good sides" and "challenges" to overcome. Hera is the woman scorned challenge, the wife of Zues-he cheats on her all the time. There are Greek, Roman, Irish etc. god and goddess archetypes, most women (and men) are two. These are called pantheons. Our sense of fashion is part of that. What we were is reflective of which "goddess" we chose. For me this is one "crucial" part of a being wiccan, the different gods and goddess's that overshadow us. Wicca takes this into account, and most other religions do not. It is a useful way to try and understand someone and where they are coming from.

You see, Julia and I have never met. This is the first email I received from Julia. What's really fascinating is what Julia was sharing with me was exactly what I needed to hear too. I'm no different than anyone else. We all need to encourage one another. When it comes to keeping things in perspective, I am one of the worst offenders. I still have my 2012 "escape pod" on my car. It's so easy to lose sight of the fact that we have already won this battle.

How cool is it that our God's Word is the only text ever written that has an immaculate track record of accurately predicting the future? How awesome is it that we not only get to win this battle here in this "existence" but we get to move on to "rule and reign" with the most LOVING KING EVER? JESUS CHRIST!

I just want to thank you for your website and cannot believe that you even get opposite emails. I just ran into your site a few weeks ago and have probably read everything on it. I am so blessed by all the info, even though some of it is over my head at times. After having read survival sites and various other sites for a long time, your site is the" only one" that ultimately is really "encouraging in the Lord" and pulls it all together.

Even after all the evil happening now and still coming, you have helped me put it into perspective, that we do not have to be afraid, that we are more than conquerors and that we will have the victory in the end. It is so easy to lose sight of that, when you read all these alarming events for so long. It is good to know your enemy, but in the end what counts is what we do about it.

After reading your stuff I started again praying more and more in tongues, doing more and more spiritual warfare and just overall having more hope again. I am so thankful also for the sense of humor you have and for the language you use. Your thinking process just blows me away, but it also clicks and is scriptural.

DURING the dread reign of the Cholera in New York, I had accepted
the invitation of a relative to spend a fortnight with him in the
retirement of his cottage ornee on the banks of the Hudson. We had
here around us all the ordinary means of summer amusement; and what with rambling in the woods, sketching, boating, fishing, bathing,
music, and books, we should have passed the time pleasantly enough, but for the fearful intelligence which reached us every morning from the populous city. Not a day elapsed which did not bring us news of the decease of some acquaintance. Then as the fatality increased, we learned to expect daily the loss of some friend. At length we trembled at the approach of every messenger. The very air from the South seemed to us redolent with death. That palsying thought, indeed, took
entire posession of my soul. I could neither speak, think, nor dream of any thing else. My host was of a less excitable temperament, and, although greatly depressed in spirits, exerted himself to sustain my own. His richly philosophical intellect was not at any time affected by unrealities. To the substances of terror he was sufficiently alive, but of its shadows he had no apprehension.
His endeavors to arouse me from the condition of abnormal gloom into which I had fallen, were frustrated, in great measure, by certain
volumes which I had found in his library. These were of a character to force into germination whatever seeds of hereditary superstition lay latent in my bosom. I had been reading these books without his
knowledge, and thus he was often at a loss to account for the forcible impressions which had been made upon my fancy.
A favorite topic with me was the popular belief in omens- a belief
which, at this one epoch of my life, I was almost seriously disposed to defend. On this subject we had long and animated discussions- he maintaining the utter groundlessness of faith in such matters,- I
contending that a popular sentiment arising with absolute spontaneity- that is to say, without apparent traces of suggestion- had in itself the unmistakable elements of truth, and was entitled to as much
respect as that intuition which is the idiosyncrasy of the
individual man of genius.
The fact is, that soon after my arrival at the cottage there had
occurred to myself an incident so entirely inexplicable, and which had in it so much of the portentous character, that I might well have been excused for regarding it as an omen. It appalled, and at the same time so confounded and bewildered me, that many days elapsed before I could make up my mind to communicate the circumstances to my friend.
Near the close of exceedingly warm day, I was sitting, book in hand, at an open window, commanding, through a long vista of the river
banks, a view of a distant hill, the face of which nearest my position had been denuded by what is termed a land-slide, of the principal
portion of its trees. My thoughts had been long wandering from the
volume before me to the gloom and desolation of the neighboring
city. Uplifting my eyes from the page, they fell upon the naked face of the bill, and upon an object- upon some living monster of hideous conformation, which very rapidly made its way from the summit to the bottom, disappearing finally in the dense forest below. As this
creature first came in sight, I doubted my own sanity- or at least the evidence of my own eyes; and many minutes passed before I succeeded in convincing myself that I was neither mad nor in a dream. Yet when I described the monster (which I distinctly saw, and calmly surveyed
through the whole period of its progress), my readers, I fear, will feel more difficulty in being convinced of these points than even I did myself.
Estimating the size of the creature by comparison with the
diameter of the large trees near which it passed- the few giants of the forest which had escaped the fury of the land-slide- I concluded it to be far larger than any ship of the line in existence. I say ship of the line, because the shape of the monster suggested the idea-
the hull of one of our seventy-four might convey a very tolerable
conception of the general outline. The mouth of the animal was
situated at the extremity of a proboscis some sixty or seventy feet in length, and about as thick as the body of an ordinary elephant. Near the root of this trunk was an immense quantity of black shaggy hair- more than could have been supplied by the coats of a score of
buffaloes; and projecting from this hair downwardly and laterally,
sprang two gleaming tusks not unlike those of the wild boar, but of infinitely greater dimensions. Extending forward, parallel with the proboscis, and on each side of it, was a gigantic staff, thirty or
forty feet in length, formed seemingly of pure crystal and in shape a perfect prism,- it reflected in the most gorgeous manner the rays of the declining sun. The trunk was fashioned like a wedge with the
apex to the earth. From it there were outspread two pairs of wings- each wing nearly one hundred yards in length- one pair being placed above the other, and all thickly covered with metal scales; each scale apparently some ten or twelve feet in diameter. I observed that the upper and lower tiers of wings were connected by a strong chain. But the chief peculiarity of this horrible thing was the representation of a Death's Head, which covered nearly the whole surface of its
breast, and which was as accurately traced in glaring white, upon
the dark ground of the body, as if it had been there carefully
designed by an artist. While I regarded the terrific animal, and
more especially the appearance on its breast, with a feeling or horror and awe- with a sentiment of forthcoming evil, which I found it
impossible to quell by any effort of the reason, I perceived the
huge jaws at the extremity of the proboscis suddenly expand
themselves, and from them there proceeded a sound so loud and so
expressive of wo, that it struck upon my nerves like a knell and as the monster disappeared at the foot of the hill, I fell at once,
fainting, to the floor.
Upon recovering, my first impulse, of course, was to inform my
friend of what I had seen and heard- and I can scarcely explain what feeling of repugnance it was which, in the end, operated to prevent me.
At length, one evening, some three or four days after the
occurrence, we were sitting together in the room in which I had seen the apparition- I occupying the same seat at the same window, and he lounging on a sofa near at hand. The association of the place and time impelled me to give him an account of the phenomenon. He heard me to the end- at first laughed heartily- and then lapsed into an
excessively grave demeanor, as if my insanity was a thing beyond
suspicion. At this instant I again had a distinct view of the monster- to which, with a shout of absolute terror, I now directed his
attention. He looked eagerly- but maintained that he saw nothing-
although I designated minutely the course of the creature, as it
made its way down the naked face of the hill.
I was now immeasurably alarmed, for I considered the vision either
as an omen of my death, or, worse, as the fore-runner of an attack
of mania. I threw myself passionately back in my chair, and for some moments buried my face in my hands. When I uncovered my eyes, the
apparition was no longer apparent.
My host, however, had in some degree resumed the calmness of his
demeanor, and questioned me very rigorously in respect to the
conformation of the visionary creature. When I had fully satisfied him on this head, he sighed deeply, as if relieved of some intolerable
burden, and went on to talk, with what I thought a cruel calmness,
of various points of speculative philosophy, which had heretofore
formed subject of discussion between us. I remember his insisting very especially (among other things) upon the idea that the principle
source of error in all human investigations lay in the liability of the understanding to under-rate or to over-value the importance of
an object, through mere mis-admeasurement of its propinquity. "To
estimate properly, for example," he said, "the influence to be
exercised on mankind at large by the thorough diffusion of
Democracy, the distance of the epoch at which such diffusion may
possibly be accomplished should not fail to form an item in the
estimate. Yet can you tell me one writer on the subject of
government who has ever thought this particular branch of the
subject worthy of discussion at all?"
He here paused for a moment, stepped to a book-case, and brought
forth one of the ordinary synopses of Natural History. Requesting me then to exchange seats with him, that he might the better
distinguish the fine print of the volume, he took my armchair at the window, and, opening the book, resumed his discourse very much in
the same tone as before.
"But for your exceeding minuteness," he said, "in describing the
monster, I might never have had it in my power to demonstrate to you what it was. In the first place, let me read to you a schoolboy
account of the genus Sphinx, of the family Crepuscularia of the
order Lepidoptera, of the class of Insecta- or insects. The account runs thus:
"'Four membranous wings covered with little colored scales of
metallic appearance; mouth forming a rolled proboscis, produced by
an elongation of the jaws, upon the sides of which are found the
rudiments of mandibles and downy palpi; the inferior wings retained to the superior by a stiff hair; antennae in the form of an elongated
club, prismatic; abdomen pointed, The Death's- headed Sphinx has
occasioned much terror among the vulgar, at times, by the melancholy kind of cry which it utters, and the insignia of death which it
wears upon its corslet.'"
He here closed the book and leaned forward in the chair, placing
himself accurately in the position which I had occupied at the
moment of beholding "the monster."
"Ah, here it is," he presently exclaimed- "it is reascending the
face of the hill, and a very remarkable looking creature I admit it to be. Still, it is by no means so large or so distant as you imagined it,- for the fact is that, as it wriggles its way up this thread,

This is validsince mankind has lived in organised settlements. Signs of this arefound as rock-paintings in caves and on different kinds of remains.Moon-calendars have been for more than 20,000 years as far as we know.Using stellar constellations may also be that old. The beginning ofcontinuous agriculture required a more detailed calendar and with itthe myths of agriculture. That is in our word instruction or timetablefor the season. They made most of the early calendars for six to sevenmoons. I suggest you, have a look at stars and constellations beforereading this book.It was an ingenious idea to "paint" the myths on the night sky. Theygot an automatic big clock to watch in a certain direction at adefinite time during the night or in the morning. Thus, they gave theconvention to follow the ecliptic and the sunrise during the year.They discovered the equinoxes and the solstices and got four stabletime limits during the solar year.Then followed the convention of using a spring equinox as start of thesummer. Although in southern cultures, it was more suitable to usehalfway between winter solstice and spring equinox as in Egypt. Tothis came the moon counting which divide the year in moons.This is not more complicated than the yearly ritual of church andChristianity starting in the spring. To decide the right time is noteasy as we in Sweden know twice a year when setting our watches forsummer time and wintertime.The church has set the almanac for many decades ahead. That is becauseour ancestors investigated the cycles and periods of the moon and sun.The greatest effort was for an example when they ground grooves for amillennium and learned about the moon cycle.Still, first moon after the spring equinox is used as start of theritual year in many cultures including our own. This elk is supposed to come fromKarelia and was found in Alunda, UpplandUsing the old moon counting to get longer periods with which to handlewas convenient. In our days it is Thi Elk. In Southern Scandinavia itwas maybe the Deer and in East Sweden the wild Boar. The Bear has beenthe high game in entire EuropeThis is found in many carvings in Scandinavia. Observe that this isnot the only form of information one may get from the rocks. They saythat Dal is "A miniature of Sweden" and some investigator has saidthat Dal has the most various carvings in Scandinavia. This is true.However, we on Dal have also the key to understanding a part of ourancestor's story. Observe also that we say "on Dal" as a local tongue.In a cave dated 7,900 BC at Vistehula Stavanger, Norway was foundbones from about seventy species of wild life. Further more are allspecies belonging to gathering from all herbs and so on. Tools leaveonly remains of stone or hard bone.Man had to know when, how, with what, how many etc. when collectingall raw materials. They had also to know when were the best seasonsfor every specie. These occurred for millenniums.Dividing time and living room is artificial. It leads to contemplationone's navel and thus forgetting the surrounding environment.The foreword to this book is a reminder that we all wear masks. Sometell who the man is and what he knows. Our ancestors would have loved the word.Different times and places require different masks.Often our valuing stands on the outlook. The shaman stands for takingthe guise. Large figures of ritual animals characterisethe Mesolithic period mostly before c.4200 BC. Nevertheless, from thebeginning of the New Age 4200 BC one may find symbols or ideogramsbelonging to the methods of astro-rituals... not to relate withastrology.[Image1802.JPG]Carving at the vicarage of Aur on Dal. The small figures associate tothe myth of Inanna and the upper wheel divides the year in fourquarters.They used simply the sky as an almanac. They shifted constellations ofstars sometimes more often than the standardised zodiac of our time,due to precession or other needs.[bblue.JPG]-[bblue.JPG] DatingThe rock-carvings of Alta Norway give the best lead to a chronologybecause of the elevation of earth. It is about five metres amillennium. They have made the carvings near the water level inepochs. Under vegetation the oldest are found and have been untouchedfor millenniums. At Dalbergsaa the big elks and the big boatsassociate to those early carvings of Alta, but may be as late as 3100BC.Pollen analysis on Ireland shows a remarkable increase of grasses andash while they introduce wheat around 3800 BC. They call thephenomenon elm decline because of the drastic decline of elm. Oak andhazel increased at the same time suggesting a more pastoral landscape.Wheat is seen for only some generation and returns about 2400 BC for afew generations. Grasses, ribwort plantain, ash, hazel increases againand oak stays at a higher level than before the first elms decline.[Image1803.JPG]Ritual axesfrom the fourth millennium. The shapes are not practical but forrituals and probably an early ritual of Inanna in fourth millenniumBC. To the right a boat axe made locally.Some call these axes battle-axes. However there is no evidence andfinds are relatively few. They also say that the society wasstratified. The question is, was there enough people? I doubt, and ifonly in few places. Nevertheless, on Dal it maybe only local experiment and of lesser scale.In Bohuslaen the carving of Bronze Age contends at places a lot of elkand deer. Maybe they have seen all animals as their cattle. AtAspeberget is the oldest game law in hunting deer. It says thathunting sucking roe deer is forbidden.At Drammen, Norway symbols on the same theme are found, The Norwegianof today seems less educated when they are knocking baby-seals forluxurious urban jet sets.Our ancestors knew the same I experienced when I found a deep-hole ina river and took all the old perch. Some had more skin than flesh. Onecannot go fishing there again for a decade. Nature is generous butonly to those who know to love and handle it with care and not takemore than the reproduction rate.This book is about the ideas and thoughts of an early population. Icall it the nobility because those with rituals and laws take priorityand make the laws. This is general "law" everywhere.The earliest indications are ritual axes, double axes or facet axes. Aspecial form is the boat axe found in a few specimens. We have nopassage graves on Dal to tell about a huge population. Still, wecannot talk about a primitive people those days. The few remains onlysuggest large ritual spheres during the fourth millennium BC andpossibly the ritual boat axe some centuries of the third.In the third millennium BC many more ritual finds are present. Theseare big ground axes or chisels. They brought most of them from Skaane.I suppose the axe type of ritual weapon was used in the moon rituallike that of Inanna. The flint tells that itwas maybe bought in Skaane. The length is 44,5 cm and longest found onDal and from the third millennium.'It is a good hypothesis to connect these to a ritual of grindingleaving grooves. At Gotland they are found in 68 places and at FlyhovVaestergautland are 55 grooves in a row. They probably grind these asa spring ritual intending to synchronise the first full moon afterequinox and star Antares in Scorpio. They make these in step with theMoon period. That is 19 years as the periodicity of the moon. Thus, 55grooves mean about 1045 years of continuous ritual from c.3100 to 2150BC.Of the ground axes there is a lot more in our museums. Perhaps theydivided Dal in a lot of folk lands during the third millennium BC.[Image1805.JPG]My grandpa was a great bear-hunter with 63 nose rings as trophy. Thisbear-headed club was found in Eastgautland and it is supposed to beKarelian origin.All remains and especially megalithic or other big stone remains havebeen a claim from generations of owners. That stands for graves,carvings, and late runic stones as well.Some special forms of claim marks are those where they make some sortof time mark. That is the four quarters and a mark for a springequinox. It is as when we put a date on important documents.Of the territorial claims is that to Mother Earth of the secondmillennium BC. The other two are approximately from about 2000 BC andthe period when they made the slab stone cist.
